 Welcome to our special corner of the mountains, we are glad you are interested. Raven Rock Mountain is a special place for us, so let us tell you a little more about it. Here are the details:

  • Our properties, Raven Rock Cabin and Raven Rock Treehouse, are a unique experience designed to allow you to unplug and commune with nature. No TV, no WiFi, no noise from civilization. Plenty of critters, wind in the trees, views of 2 valleys, mountain ranges, and amazing star fields at night (clouds permitting).

  • Amenities are limited. All properties have basic outdoor cooking equipment, a fresh spring water dispenser, wood stoves, clean portable toilets, limited solar power for charging cell phones, laptops or small appliances, a bed and furniture.

  • Please bring your own Queen Sheets, Bedding and Towels. We have hermetically sealed our mattresses and box springs and disinfect them in between guests for your protection.

  • The improved logging cut road up to our properties is best traversed in a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We have 2 wheel drive parking available at the base of the mountain. It is just a short 15 minute hike to the cabin or the tree house.

  • When you are ready to explore, we have 40 acres of mountain top land, including over 10 acres of high mountain pasture. Take a walk, hike or run and explore! Want some civilization? We are only 10-20 minutes from restaurants, breweries, wineries, shopping and other activities and amenities in Fletcher, Arden, Asheville, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock and Hendersonville.   • We are surrounded by Nature, and it must be respected. There are many wild animals that call Raven Rock Mountain home, and we acknowledge they were here first. Enjoy them at a distance - especially around dawn and dusk when they are more active. Stay still and quiet and you may see fox, deer, bobcats, falcons, hawks, grouse, owls, and a ravens too. Our largest neighbors are bears, and they can get quite curious if you leave food outside your structure or vehicle, so don’t do it please. They are typically shy, but you don’t want to test the theory…

  • Your pets are welcome, but must be managed properly and are your total responsibility, including removal of waste into the trees (it is good fertilizer, but nobody wants to step in it)

  • Our properties are not suitable for infants, toddlers, and children under 12 years old.

  • No smoking allowed.

  • No Parties or loud music allowed.
